Chance The Rapper‘s first release since dropping one of the best albums of 2016, Coloring Book, and singer Jeremih‘s first since Late Nights: Europe finds this Chicago duo sneaking a surprise stocking stuffer in our homes. Let go to the masses in the ass-crack of dawn (#TeamNoSleep) — Merry Christmas Lil Mama is certainly a welcomed addition to our holiday playlists.
Featuring comedian Hannibal Buress (“All the Way”), Noname (“The Tragedy”) and Lud Foe (“I Shoulda Left You”) — the nine-track Yuletide effort is a collection of songs that should have you feeling like warm egg nog and Christmas cheer. In addition to the songs, Merry Christmas Lil Mama was dedicated by Lil’ Chano and Jeremih to the city of Chicago.
The announcement of the tape came courtesy of the latter’s Instagram page with a photo from the studio that included Monday’s copy of The Chicago Tribune alongside Chance’s signature “3” hat and Jeremih’s own “Late Nights” fitted.
Enough chit-chat from us, get into the Christmas spirit by pressing play on Merry Christmas Lil Mama, which you can listen to below:
