Hospital Charges Dad $39.35 To Hold His Newborn Baby
A Utah father recently posted an image of a hospital bill following the birth of his newborn. The doting dad said he was shocked to see a fee for “skin to skin” contact after the nurse placed the baby in his arms:
The dad, Ryan Grassley, said the delivery at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah was a good experience but posted the bill on Reddit to find some humor in the ridiculousness of charge. Grassley later started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the “holding fee”…
