Michel’le And Lifetime Shrug Off Dr. Dre’s Lawsuit
As you probably have already heard, Dr. Dre is NOT here for Michel’le’s made-for-tv biopic “Surviving Compton,” and the dramatic scenes of him brutally abusing her — in accordance with the stories she’s always told about their five-year relationship.
Michel’le says that she quietly gave Dre the chance to portray himself in the (positive) way he chose in “Straight Outta Compton,” so she deserves the same chance to give her side of the story in her Lifetime movie. Furthermore, she and execs at lifetime aren’t too intimidated by the cease and desist letter he sent along regarding their film.
