It is a beautiful day in the lands of Wakanda, as Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba have joined the growing cast of Marvel’s Black Panther.

The Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan starring action-adventure flick has been highly anticipated ever since Boseman made his debut in Captain America: Civil War. The project, which is slated to appear in theaters on February 18th, 2018, cannot come soon enough and now with this latest news it is even more exciting. Whitaker, who will also be featured in Disney’s other multi-billion dollar franchise, Star Wars: Rogue One, will play Zuri, an elder statesman in Wakanda.

Kasumba will reprise her role as Ayo, one-half of the Dora Milaje, who are tasked with protecting Boseman’s T’Challa / Black Panther character. Daniel Kaluuya, who stars in Jordan Peele‘s upcoming horror flick Get Out, will play T’Challa’s confidant W’Kabi. Creed director Ryan Coogler is helming this project, as Joe Robert Cole is co-penning the script with him. All in all, this news about the growing cast of Black Panther promises that this film is worth the price of admission.
