With a slightly different name, the FYF Fest started in earnest, as it became known around California as the scrappy upstart music festival. Since its humble beginning in 2004, it has become known as Coachella’s not-so-little sister. We’re ecstatic to be on-hand for the 12th edition of FYF Fest when it leaps off the page and into the speakers on Aug. 27 – Aug. 28 in Exposition Park. Headlining the music + food bonanza are Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, LCD Soundsystem and Grace Jones with some of the best restaurants in L.A. serving food this year on the field.
Whether you’re coming for the sounds or the smells (frankly, we’d love to get some topped French fries from Koreatown’s beloved Beer Belly) — this year’s FYF Fest is one of the best events to partake in for those who live in SoCal. How can you go wrong with a lineup that includes Air, Beach House, Grimes, Father John Misty, Blood Orange and Vince Staples, among many others. The full line-up is totally worth checking out, which you can do here, and underneath that are the full list of food spots that will be present and accounted for.
