If there is any two places in this world that are super similar to one another it is Oakland in the Bay Area + Brooklyn in New York City. Bridging the gap between these hip-hop hotbeds is the super fly, ultra-futuristic rapper with an East Coast hustle, Nappy Nina. A writer with multiple disciplines, she put the O-Town on her back and built up a solid reputation in Kings County as a capable MC.
Inspired by the artists of the past, Nappy Nina chronicles her time as an otherworldly performer on the album, Extra Ordinary. We’re ecstatic to premiere this 10-track effort from this connoisseur of good greens and sunshiny vibes.
