Given the speculation with the photo above, Chance The Rapper and Childish Gambino might be readying a new collaborative project… or just exchanging small talk on how they are both going to kill it at the 7th Annual Governors Ball Music Festival.

Founders Entertainment and the good folks at Governors Ball are proud to share with us (and you all) the official lineup for this year’s event. With tickets going on sale this Friday, January 6th at 12-noon EST, you can expect this to be a scorching hot item that will go extremely fast, so don’t wait. Yes, Chano and Bino might lead out the headlining acts, but Tool (who’ll be performing in NYC for the first time in 11 years), Phoenix and those legends from Shaolin, The Wu-Tang Clan are also notable inclusions at the top of the marquee.

The three-day event, which will take place from Friday, June 2nd to June 4, is highly anticipated and for those who missed out on last year’s OVO-exclusive event — missing this one is not an option. Taking place again at the beautiful Randall’s Island Park, the 7th Annual Governors Ball Music Festival will play host to 65+ artists throughout the weekend, have tons of delicious foods and art to look at, while “Zombies” and “Blessings” blare out the speakers in the background. General admission and VIP ticket information (including payment plan options) can be found via GovBall.com, and we suggest that keep your finger on the refresh button now.

In addition to getting premium live music into your earholes, #GovBall2017 will feature “redesigned VIP amenities and locations, an expanded selection of craft beer options, mini golf and an After Dark concert series.” Another new inclusion to the Governors Ball mix is the creation of a 21+ oasis open to all 21+ ticket holders who are in need of a restful area to chillax from all the hype-ness and have a cold, refreshing drink to go with it.

All VIP areas at Governors Ball will be 21+ as well.

A prime item to note that while the stars on the bill are great and all that, Governors Ball also has generated quite a bit of change for the community. Direct donations to organizations like the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, Founders Entertainment will continue to encourage festival goers to give back by offering general admission tickets in exchange for volunteer hours at local non-for-profit food programs.
