TV One Wants You To Play “The Game Of Dating”
TV One looks to redefine the modern game show with its hilarious new series The Game of Dating hosted by funnyman Tony Rock that offers viewers provocative, outrageous and hysterically fresh takes on classic dating show scenarios.
Here’s how it works: Three teams of friends and/or family watch real dates “hidden camera”-style and offer funny and uncensored commentary, along with Rock. The couples could either be on an awkward first date OR an already existing couple just trying to keep the magic alive.
The competing teams watch the dates and try to figure out the daters’ stories (and next moves) in order to score cash. It’s basically the greatest People Watching session ever BUT way crazier with stacks on the line.
“Every couple has a story and the most fun part for any bystander is figuring out ‘what’s their deal’,” said Rock. “We’re pulling back the curtain and taking an uncensored look at how couples relate. The commentary might not always be pretty, but it will definitely be funny.”
